One day Iwas between projects relaxing ( sort of ) managing my
comic store. A kid came in and asked about purchasing a "poster" that was
actually a book cover painting ( shown above ) that I'd left at the shop.
I said,"That's not a poster. I painted that." He skipped a beat and replied,
"People are going to know you're lyin' when you say that!" And I couldn't
convince him otherwise. I took it as a compliment.
