A little background. This robot design is from a comic project of mine, Recombatants™, formerly Bioneers. One issue was published in color. I have the second issue completed, and plan to do the third in the story arc and publish them again, over three months, in black and white. I will be producing more 3D models of the robots, humans and vehicles and all to use as proof of concept to sell this property. (Modeled in FormZ and rendered in ElectricImage Universe.)

This robot is one of four Team Dragonfighters™ (a special ops/rescue unit) Protozoid Robots. They are nicknamed FE, FI (seen here), FO and FUM. They are all designed utilizing a common technology. For one thing, it makes them seem more realistic to me. For another, how would you like to draw four completely different complex robots over and over again? Two of the robots have 'hardpoints' for mounting various hardware, weapons or rescue gear, to suit a mission.

The nicknames are based on their designations, those being, Fearless 001, Firebrand 002, Forward Alert/Recon 003 and Fumigator 004. Their personalities match their names. Besides the robots there are three other team members. Two genetic recombinants, one feline and another amphibian, and a test pilot named Bandit who, being badly injured in a crash, survives by way of a radical use of the same technology as the robots. Also a few normal humans, some not so normal humans, who are scientists and military training cadre.
