Apple's QuickTime VR is a cross-platform technology that allows a viewer to change the point of view in a movie. You will experience virtual reality on your computer. You don't need an expensive high-powered graphics workstation, and you don't have to wear goggles and gloves. You navigate with a mouse and keyboard. You can look up and down, turn around, zoom in to see details, or zoom out for a wider view. In a QTVR movie a viewer can navigate through an environment and also navigate the web! In order to use the QTVR movies you will need to have QuickTime version 5.0 and above and the QTVR Plug-In.
